Pre & Post Care

Lash Extension Care

Day of:

  • Do not wear any eye make up on the day of your appointment. Most makeup products have oil bases and the residue will cause poor retention. Time spent removing make up will take away from application
  • If you are a contact wearer, it is advised to wear glasses to your appointment. There are contact cases and solution that will be made available to you, wearing contacts during the service can result in overly dry eyes.
  • You will be laying on your back with your eyes closed for a minimum of two hours. There are no available modifications to change the service, please prepare for this.
  • Please refrain from caffeine prior to the appointment, your body’s reaction to caffeine is fluttering eyelids, causing difficulties in the service.
  • The adhesive used is a cyanoacrylate base, if you have issues or allergies to adhesive, or acrylic nails, this service is not recommended.

Please Let Your Artist Know If You:

  • Have recently had eye surgery or any procedure around the eyes.
  • Are experiencing redness, irritation, styes, or eye infections.
  • Have seasonal allergies that are flaring up.
  • Have started any new medications or have experienced changes in your health since your last visit.

Post Treatment :

  • Avoid sources of high heat and humidity
  • Avoid waterproof eye make up, kohl or gel liners as this will attach to the base of the lashes, causing unnecessary weight and premature shedding
  • Avoid sleeping face-down if possible.
  • Do Not use cotton products (q-tips, cotton balls/rounds, make up remover wipes) on or around the extensions. The cotton fibers will attach to the extension and rip them out.
  • Please don’t pick, pull or rub your eyes and lashes; this friction will result in poor retention.
  • Do not use an eyelash curler with extensions on.

Daily Lash Care

Clean Your Lashes Every Day

Healthy lashes are clean lashes.

  • Wash your lashes daily using an approved lash cleanser.
  • Use a soft cleansing brush to gently clean along the lash line.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Pat dry gently with a clean towel.
  • Finish by drying with a handheld fan if available.

Brush Your Lashes

  • Brush your lashes each morning and after cleansing and drying using a clean mascara wand.
  • Always brush gently from the middle of the lashes toward the tips.
  • Never force the brush through tangled lashes.

Maintenance Schedule

To keep your lashes looking full and healthy, we recommend:

  • New Clients: Every 2 weeks until retention has been evaluated.
  • Returning Clients with Excellent Retention: Every 2–3 weeks, as recommended by your artist.

Waiting too long between appointments may require booking a full set instead of a fill.

  • Persistent redness lasting longer than 48 hours
  • Significant swelling
  • Severe itching or burning
  • Pain
  • Discharge from the eye

Post Treatment :

The first 24 hours are the most important for setting your lift.

For the First 24 Hours

  • Do not:
    • Get your lashes wet.
    • Wear mascara.
    • Use eye makeup.
    • Use eyelash curlers.
    • Apply oils around the eyes.
    • Sleep face down if possible.
    • Rub your eyes.
    • Swim.
    • Use saunas or steam rooms.
    • Exercise excessively if it causes heavy sweating.

After 24 Hours

You may resume your normal routine.

To keep your lashes healthy:

  • Brush them daily with a clean spoolie.
  • Use a lash conditioner if recommended.
  • Avoid waterproof mascara whenever possible.
  • Remove eye makeup gently.

Recommended Maintenance

Lash lifts should be performed every 6–8 weeks to maintain healthy lashes and achieve consistent results.

Receiving services sooner than six weeks is not recommended, as lashes must complete their natural growth cycle before lifting again.

Brow Lamination

Please Inform Your Artist If You:

  • Are currently using or have recently used Accutane® (Isotretinoin).
  • Use Retinol, Retin-A®, Tretinoin, Differin®, Adapalene, or other Vitamin A derivatives around the brow area.
  • Use glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or other exfoliating skincare products.
  • Have recently had a chemical peel, laser treatment, microneedling, microdermabrasion, or facial resurfacing treatment (2-8 Weeks).
  • Have recently had permanent makeup performed on your brows (6 Weeks).
  • Have any cuts, abrasions, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, or irritation in the brow area.
  • Have experienced an allergic reaction to brow lamination, tint, or cosmetic products in the past.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (please discuss with your artist).

These conditions may affect whether the service is appropriate or may require modifications.

Day of:

    • Arrive with clean brows free of makeup, sunscreen, and skincare products.
    • Avoid applying oils, heavy moisturizers, or brow makeup on the day of your appointment.
    • Avoid exfoliating the brow area for 48 hours before your service.
    • Avoid prolonged sun exposure or sunburn before your appointment.
    • If this is your first brow lamination or you have sensitive skin, a patch test may be recommended.

Post Treatment :

Your brows need time to fully set into their new shape. Following these instructions will help maximize the longevity of your results.

First 24 Hours

Avoid:

  • Getting your brows wet.
  • Washing the brow area.
  • Steam rooms or saunas.
  • Swimming.
  • Hot tubs.
  • Excessive sweating or strenuous exercise.
  • Sleeping face-down if possible.
  • Applying makeup directly to the brows.
  • Touching, rubbing, or brushing the brows excessively.

Keep your brows as dry as possible during the first 24 hours.

First 48 Hours

Avoid applying the following directly over the brows:

  • Retinol
  • Retin-A®
  • Tretinoin
  • Vitamin A products
  • Glycolic acid
  • Salicylic acid
  • Facial scrubs
  • Chemical exfoliants
  • Self-tanner

These products can weaken the lamination and shorten the life of your results.

Daily Brow Care

After the first 24 hours:

  • Brush your brows into place each morning using a clean spoolie.
  • If recommended by your artist, apply a nourishing brow serum or conditioning oil to help maintain healthy, hydrated brow hairs.
  • Wash the brow area gently using a mild cleanser.
  • Avoid excessive rubbing or scrubbing of the brows.

Styling Your Brows

Once the initial 24-hour setting period has passed:

  • Style your brows daily with a clean spoolie.
  • Brow gel may be used if desired.
  • Avoid excessive heat directly on the brows whenever possible.

Recommended Maintenance

To maintain your laminated brows, we recommend scheduling your next appointment every 6–8 weeks.

Receiving brow laminations too frequently can overprocess the brow hairs and compromise their health. Allow the brows to complete their natural growth cycle before receiving another lamination.

Brow Shaping

Day of:

Please Inform Your Artist If You Are Using:

  • Accutane® (Isotretinoin) or have used it within the past year
  • Retinol or Retin-A®
  • Tretinoin
  • Adapalene (Differin®)
  • Glycolic acid
  • Salicylic acid
  • Benzoyl peroxide
  • Prescription acne medications
  • Any exfoliating skincare products around the brow area

These products may increase skin sensitivity and can make waxing unsafe.

Please Inform Your Artist If You Have Recently Had:

  • Chemical peels
  • Microneedling
  • Laser treatments
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Brow lamination
  • Permanent makeup
  • Facial surgery

For the First 24 Hours

Avoid:

    • Touching the brow area unnecessarily.
    • Excessive sweating or strenuous exercise.
    • Hot showers, steam rooms, or saunas.
    • Swimming pools and hot tubs.
    • Direct sun exposure.
    • Applying makeup directly over the waxed area.

Brow Maintenance

To keep your brows looking their best:

  • Resist tweezing between appointments.
  • Brush your brows daily using a clean spoolie.
  • Follow any styling recommendations provided by your artist.

Recommended Maintenance

For the most consistent shape, we recommend scheduling your brow shaping appointment every 4–6 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth.

Keeping a regular schedule allows your artist to maintain your ideal brow shape while minimizing the need for extensive reshaping.

  • Have recently had brow lamination or permanent makeup.
  • Have any allergies, skin sensitivities, or previous reactions to brow tint or stain products.

After Your Brow Code Stain

Your stain will continue to oxidize and settle during the first 24–48 hours. The initial color may appear slightly darker before softening into its final result.

Post Treatment :

First 24 Hours

  • Getting your brows wet.
  • Cleansers directly on the brow area.
  • Excessive sweating or exercise.
  • Swimming pools.
  • Steam rooms or saunas.

  • Retinol
  • Retin-A®
  • Tretinoin
  • Vitamin A products
  • Glycolic acid
  • Salicylic acid

To help extend the life of your Brow Code Hybrid Stain:

  • Wash your face gently around the brow area.
  • Avoid oil-based cleansers and skincare directly on the brows.
  • Pat the brows dry instead of rubbing them.

Post Treatment :

An after care kit including the antiseptic towelettes, after care wash and aftercare ointment will be given at your first appointment and has enough product to help your brows through the healing stage for both treatments. Please do not throw away your aftercare wash and ointment after your first healing phase has ended.

-30 Minutes after treatment gently pat brows with an antiseptic towelette, repeat this two more times, every 30 minutes, to remove lymph.

-Cleanse the brows, morning and night, with warm water and aftercare cleanser, without stretching or pulling the skin. Pat dry with clean paper towel, or cotton round. Repeat for fourteen  (14) days

-Once skin is dried, pat a thin layer of aftercare ointment on to the brow area. Too much product will draw out the pigment and suffocate the healing skin, if you have applied too much product you can gently pat off the excess.

-Only wet the brows for the first fourteen (14) days to clean them. Avoid sweat, sauna, swimming or soaking your brows in the shower during this time, as it can lead to poor healed results.

-Once skin is healed after fourteen (14) days, or when the dry skin has stopped flaking, you may use grape seed oil to provide extra moisture.

-Always use SPF on your brows to keep them looking as bright and beautiful for as long as possible.

Helpful tip: Change your pillow case daily during the healing phase to protect your brows from dirt, dust and debris.
Avoid picking, pulling. or rubbing at scabs or dry skin to promote best healed results.

Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first ten (10) days. This is very common for all permanent cosmetic procedures.
